What is PPF?
Paint protection film is a clear, self-healing urethane film applied over your paint. It absorbs rock chips, scratches and stains so the paint underneath stays original.
How long does PPF last?
Premium film is designed to last around ten years. Our UPPF Hammerhead films carry a 10-year film warranty.
Is PPF the same as a clear bra?
Yes. Clear bra is an older name for paint protection film on the front of a car.
Does PPF really self-heal?
Light swirls and fine scratches disappear with heat from the sun or warm water. Deep cuts through the film do not heal.
Can PPF be removed?
Yes. Quality film removes cleanly from factory paint when done by a professional.

Color PPF
What is color PPF?
A color change and paint protection in one film. Cobia color PPF comes in 81 colors across six finishes.
Is color PPF better than a vinyl wrap?

Window tint
What tint is legal in Texas?
Front side windows must let in at least 25% of light. Rear side and back windows can be any darkness if the vehicle has two side mirrors. See Texas window tint laws.
Why ceramic tint?
It rejects more heat, blocks up to 99% of UV, does not fade purple and does not block phone or GPS signals.

Care and warranty
How do I wash a car with PPF?
After the cure period, use pH-neutral soap and a soft mitt. Touchless washes are fine. Avoid brush car washes and pressure washing close to edges.
What does the warranty cover?
The film warranty covers yellowing, cracking, peeling and delamination. We document it when your install is done.
Can I put ceramic coating over PPF?
